Assalamualaikum and hello :)
Here we are in the last month of 2019. I’ve gone through so many ups and downs this year both good and bad situations. I’m also in the final month of my third-year degree life 😁. How time flies! Just one more year left 😝. Finally, I’m at the last step.
This year, I also learned the real meaning of friendship. But it’s okay, my late father once told me: “Don’t put too much trust in friends, but trust more in family. No matter how big the problem is, family will always be on the inside, while friends will still be outsiders.”
A couple of days ago, I had a little escape with my sister first to Melaka, then to Sunway Lagoon. These past few months have been so busy for me, so I decided to release some stress.
29 November was such a stress + kalut day. My plan was to go back to my sister’s home at 12 noon, but suddenly my ELC lecturer scheduled a placement interview at 2.30pm. By hook or by crook, I had to stay.
We expected to arrive in Melaka by 8.30pm, but the highway was super jammed. We only reached Kak Shira’s house around 10pm. The reason for going there was her wedding, which was on 30 November at 1.30pm.
I gained so many experiences there and got to see the unique adat Melaka for weddings. It was so beautiful to watch how all the family members uncles, aunties, cousins came together to help.
The next day, around 2pm, I drove back to KL, and then we went to Sunway Lagoon. Alhamdulillah, no traffic jam this time, and we arrived around 3.45pm.
We decided not to bring our handphones inside since we forgot the waterproof covers at home. (That’s why there are no pictures from inside Sunway Lagoon!) We also didn’t bring any clothes only the car key 😝. But it was so fun!
The first ride we tried was Vuvuzela the second scariest one. Then we went for the roller coaster, which wasn’t as scary as I thought. But the scariest one was Monsoon 360! The drop was so sudden and unexpected that my heart literally felt like, “It’s okay if I die now” 😆. But still it was so much fun!
So, one of my bucket list items is officially achieved ✅. Please wait for the next one 🤩. I still have a lot more on my list to go!
