Chun chuu Izzatie kha, chun aa-yu yii sip saam pii. Chun maa jaak Malaysia kha ✨
Guys, I’m super busy right now. Seriously, final year is no joke! It’s only week 6, but I already feel so exhausted. My days are packed with assessments, Final Year Project, ENT Project, VLSI Project, and Industrial Topic Workshop everything is blowing up at once. No wonder my seniors used to remind me, “Complete your FYP early!” Now I finally understand why. There’s literally no time left for K-Drama, Lakorn, K-Pop, or even a short vacation.
But today, let’s go back to my main topic.
✨ I finally got back my old skin!
For the past two years, I’ve been fighting with myself. Acne has honestly been one of the hardest challenges in my life. It started with small spots on my forehead, nothing too serious at first. But by the end of 2017, during my Diploma, it got worse and it felt like an endless cycle that I couldn’t escape.
I became so insecure with myself. I would constantly compare my skin with my friends’, wondering “Why me? Why am I so unlucky?” Talking to people became hard; I would cover my face with my hands or adjust my hijab to hide my skin. Sometimes, I even avoided eye contact and slowly distanced myself from others. It wasn’t just a breakout it was something that truly affected my confidence and mental health.
💡 Here are a few tips I’ve learned about dealing with acne:
-
Take care of your mental health while going through it.
-
Be patient and resist quick fixes there’s no instant “cure.”
-
Manage your stress and make sure to get enough sleep.
-
Remember: everyone’s skin is different, so find what works for YOU.
🧴 My skincare routine looks like this:
-
Micellar Water
-
Facial Cleanser
-
Toner
-
Serum
-
Moisturizer
-
Sunscreen
-
Sheet Mask (once every two days)
I won’t share the exact products I use since each skin type is unique, but I really hope this post gives you a little confidence, makes you feel understood, and reminds you that you’re not alone. Dealing with problematic skin is never easy, but trust me progress is possible, and I’m right here with you 💕
