Tourism Part II 👭✨ | KL Tower & City Adventure 🏙️🗼

Sawaddee kha 🙏💖
Chun chuu Izzatie kha. Chun aa-yu yii sip saam pii. Chun maa jaak Malaysia kha.

Hello, my name is Izzatie. I’m 23 years old and I’m from Malaysia 🇲🇾.

In my last post, I mentioned that I’ve been self-studying Thai language. The reason I started learning Thai is because I’ve become very interested in Thai culture after watching so many lakorn (Thai dramas) and TV shows all day. The more I watch, the more curious I get about their culture, lifestyle, and everything else about Thailand. I also want to give respect to Thailand as a beautiful country 🌸.

One of my dreams is to travel alone to Thailand someday. So I thought, why not learn the language now? That way, when I finally go there, I’ll be able to speak with the locals. And since quarantine gave me so much free time (especially when Covid-19 cases got worse), I felt it was the perfect opportunity to start.

Now, let me share about my Tourism Part II trip with my favorite travel partner of course, my one and only older sister 👭💕.

Actually, this trip was supposed to be a day trip to Melaka with my eldest sister, younger sister, and me. But since my younger sister had urgent work, only the two of us continued with our plan. Even though we live in KL, it doesn’t mean we can go sightseeing anytime we want life, schedules, and work always get in the way.

For this trip, we explored around KL city 🏙️. The first place we visited… oh no, I actually forgot the name 😅. If you’re a fan of the drama series 7 Hari Mencintaiku 2, you’ll know this location! It’s near the Parlimen and Bukit Aman building. (Sorry guys, my brain is really blanking right now 🤦‍♀️).

Our second stop was Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower) 🗼. This was our second visit, but the first time we couldn’t go up to the KL Tower Deck because it was too crowded due to an event (I can’t even remember which one 😂). So we ended up just going to the KL Eco Park that time. But this time, Alhamdulillah, we finally got the chance to enjoy the tower view!

Time really flew by, though, because my sister had a night shift. So we only managed to visit two places. Don’t worry we’ll continue our adventure soon! Not sure yet if it will be Ipoh, Melaka, or Penang. Stay tuned 😉.

By the way, some of my friends asked me: “Why don’t you start your own YouTube vlog channel since you always post about your trips?” The truth is, I’ve actually thought about it! I even discussed it with my siblings. Since all of us love to travel, I don’t plan to make my own solo channel but instead, we’ll make a family travel channel 🎥👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✈️. So guys, stay tuned we might surprise you one day!

Thank you for reading 💕 Please enjoy!
